At Rotary, the safety and well-being of our youth participants are paramount. We ensure that everyone involved is well-versed in youth protection standards. Volunteers play a pivotal role in orchestrating every facet of the exchange, from arranging school placements and volunteer training to organizing recreational activities for students and recruiting and overseeing host families.

- Fulfill Eligibility Criteria: Ensure you meet the necessary qualifications, including maintaining a strong academic record, demonstrating resilience, possessing effective communication skills, and harboring a deep passion for cross-cultural exchange.
- Engage in Information Virtual Sessions: Detailed program insights, application procedures, and expectations for the exchange year will be unveiled during organized information sessions. Prospective students and their parents/guardians can attend sessions scheduled at 7 pm on September 20th, 24th, or October 4th. The Google Meet links for these sessions are:

- Embrace Outbound Exchange Interviews: On October 21st, in Slinger, members of the Rotary District 6270 Youth Exchange Committee will conduct interviews with both students and parents/guardians as part of the application process.
If you know of a student who might be interested in experiencing high school life in another country, we are currently in the process of identifying outbound Rotary Youth Exchange students for the 2024-25 school year. Candidates for the program range in age from 15 to 19 and are often recognized as leaders in their schools and communities. This exchange opportunity, valued at over $25,000 for the prospective student, represents a remarkable chance for personal growth and cultural enrichment.
