As part of Central States Rotary Youth Exchange Rotary District 6270 hosts approximately 20 international students. The age of the students range from 15 ½ - 18 ½ years old. They are typically hosted by three families for four months each. Hosting is a wonderful opportunity for the entire family. Each family member is able to interact with an international student, perhaps learning some of their language, certainly learning some of their culture and how it differs from ours. Greater understanding is created between different nationalities.
