WCS/Grants Committee Meeting Dates

The World Community Service/Grants Committee vacillates the District Simplified Grants (DSG), Matching Grants (MG) and utilizes the District Designated Funds (DDF). The committee meets bi-monthly on the 2nd Wednesday of the odd months of the year, at 6:30PM at the WE-Energies Service Center in West Bend (245 Sand Drive). Upcoming 2009 meetings are July 8, September 9, November 11. Interested Rotarians are welcomed to attend.

All final 2009/10 reports are to be submitted to Bob Nolan no later than May 30, 2010

The DSG (District Simplified Grant) program was initiated in 2003 with great success and will again provide Clubs in our District the opportunity to accomplish humanitarian projects simply, rapidly, and with funds available from the district.

District Simplied Grant

The District 6270 Simplified Grant (DSG) process is administered by the Grants/World Community Service Committee of the District, which is part of the larger Foundation Committee.  This grant process provides clubs with an opportunity to accomplish humanitarian projects on the local, national or international level.  All grants must meet the standards of the RI Humanitarian Grant Guidelines.  Only grant applications received prior to the deadline of June 1, 2009 will be considered for funding.

Application Process

Complete and submit the District 6270 Simplified Grant Application by the due date of June 1, 2009.

The primary contact should be the 2009-2010 Club President, the secondary contact can be any Rotary club member involved in this project.  BOTH contacts will be responsible for overseeing the project and completing the required progress and final reports.  The DSG application is signed by the current Rotary Club 2009-2010 President.

Completed applications shall be submitted to District 6270 Grant/World Community Service Committee contact as shown on application form.
