The DSG (District Simplified Grant) program was initiated in 2003 with great success and will again provide Clubs in our District the opportunity to accomplish humanitarian projects simply, rapidly, and with funds available from the district.

How to Complete a Matching Grant Application Instructions
The District 6270 Simplified Grant (DSG) process is administered by the Grants/World Community Service Committee of the District, which is part of the larger Foundation Committee. For the 2008-2009 Rotary year, District 6270 will receive $24,734.00 for these grants. This grant process provides clubs with an opportunity to accomplish humanitarian projects on the local, national or international level. All grants must meet the standards of the RI Humanitarian Grant Guidelines. Only grant applications received prior to the deadline of June 1, 2008 will be considered for funding. Complete and submit the District 6270 Simplified Grant Application by the due date of June 1, 2008.
The primary contact should be the 2008-2009 Club President, the secondary contact can be any Rotary club member involved in this project. BOTH contacts will be responsible for overseeing the project and completing the required progress and final reports. The DSG application is signed by the current Rotary Club 2007 – 2008 President.
Completed applications shall be submitted to District 6270 Grant/World Community Service Committee contact as shown on application form.
