The World Affairs Seminar (WAS), located in West Allis, Wisconsin seeks a part time Administrative Support person.  This is a dynamic and interesting position involving setup and managing a sponsor & delegate database;  general organizational support and light office, outreach including telephone, e-mail  and standard mail to student delegates, sponsors and prospects; maintaining financial records and data files. 
 
 
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, well-organized and able to set priorities and work independently.  Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook and other social media, able to produce direct mail.  MS Access, Quickbooks and PowerPoint skills a plus.  Hours are flexible (ideal for someone with school age children, or semi-retired who wants to work 10 - 15 hours per week).  WAS offices are located near Highway 100 and Greenfield, West Allis, Wisconsin. Seminar is held at Carroll University, Waukesha the 4th week of June.
 
The World Affairs Seminar is a program of Rotary District 6270.  WAS is a unique interactive educational Seminar for high school student from around the world.  It is held for a full week  each June. The experience provides an opportunity for international students from a variety of backgrounds to discuss issues in a non-threatening environment. They experience new and different ideas and viewpoints brought forward both by their colleagues and by world renowned experts. In small and large groups students discuss information and ideas and put their new knowledge to use.
