Excellent Rotary Opportunities:

  1. The Tools of Life & Leadership Event for Youth.  This is the first time we are doing this at District Conference for our youth.  It’s truly an amazing opportunity with a very exceptional speaker who has spoken to auditoriums and done this with thousands of youth.  Each attendee will receive a workbook during the workshop.  Any youth coming are welcome to arrive early and join in at 8 a.m. to hear our morning speaker who is from Texas and has been on PBS and across the globe.  They can also stay if they would like for the session in the evening to hear Bethany Lerch share her amazing story.  All this at no additional cost.   Click Here For More Information
  2. Zoo Walk for Polio:  Please share this with family, friends and non-Rotarians.  It’s super affordable for $25 which will include a t-shirt, parking and entrance to the Milwaukee Zoo.  Stick around after the walk to further enjoy the zoo.  Best of all we are blessed to have an amazing speaker from Maine flying in to speak who is a polio survivor.  Her story has moved so many.   Plus there is an Eventbrite link to register on the District facebook that can be shared through social media to help them register.  If you are coming to the walk encourage those in your club, friends or family to sponsor you through the Eventbrite site even if it’s only $5.  Any funds raised will be matched by the Gates Foundation.  Click Here For More Information
  3. Volunteer Opportunities Available:  We are still looking for a few more speaker aid volunteers or people to help as guides for about an hour at some point during the conference to help direct people.  Let DG Julie Craig know if you or someone you know could be of help with this.  Email Julie at:  Julie@gjmllp.com
