Charter Night for our District’s Newest Rotary Club

It is with great pleasure to announce that the Mequon-Thiensville Sunrise Satellite club has met the Rotary requirements and has applied to become the “Rotary Club of Mequon-Milwaukee Afterhours”.  They have been meeting for 1 year and have inducted 23 Rotarians. Our District’s last new club to charter was when the RC of Fox Cities Morning was established in 2010.
We grow when we’re engaged in “service above self”. Clubs grow when Rotarians invite someone to visit and learn about Rotary at a club visit, fundraiser or a project and then to join our team.  Rotary grows at the same time, especially when existing clubs sponsor a new club. New clubs fill a need by providing different meeting times, day of the week and meal options. These options open the door for more people to participate in Rotary and that is why there are 34,000 Rotary club around the world since Club #1 was established 110 years ago.

You are asked to save the date of Saturday May 2nd and consider joining us as we celebrate and “Light Up Rotary” with the charter of this new club. There will be more details to follow.   Please remember when your club chartered it was with the support of other clubs and Rotarians. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Thank You, AG Area K Brian Monroe
