District 6270 has a variety of youth activities on going throughout the year. Some of these activities include: the Youth Exchange program (school year or summer program), Interact clubs in schools, students of the week at Rotary meetings, WAS (World Affairs Seminar) and other community activities that have Rotarians and youth working side-by-side.
World Affairs Seminar
This year's World Affairs Seminar is June 20 - 26, 2015 at Carroll University in Waukesha, WI. The theme this year is, "Global Energy - Who's got the power". Application deadline is May 15, 2015. A discount of $50 is deducted from the Registration Fee if funds are received on or before 2/28/15 or if 4 or more students are sponsored by one club, or neighboring clubs. The variety of student activities being done varies with each District 6270 Rotary Club. Regardless of what the local Rotary Club has for youth activities. Make sure to check with your local community-based Rotary Club to find out what youth activities your club is participating in.
